In 1999 Philippe Porcheron bought 4 hectares of vines in amazing Margaux terroir to Roger Rex. Jean-Luc Thunevin from Château Valandraud has been cooperating with Philippe Porcheron in order to create a Margaux fine wine with infinite cares.
This perfectionist approach, combined with the fabulous Margaux terroir provides sumptuous grapes with a thick black skin and sugary gourd. Then the firstever Medoc Garage wine was born in Margaux named “Marojallia” (latin translation for Margaux). Garage wines often receive very high wine ratings from Robert Parker. It regulary overtakes all Margaux Grands Crus Classés, excepted Château MARGAUX, its legendary neighbors. On the past decade, Robert Parker has been giving to Marojallia from 88 to 97,which is the 2nd best average mark of Margaux Appellation besides Château Margaux.
Clos Margalaine, another garage wine from the same winery benefits from the same cares, facilities, is produced from youngest vines with higher Merlot content.
BTC Wines offers this two wines packed in original wooden cases, with the additional option of purchasing in Bitcoin (BTC)and Bitcoin Cash (BCH).
Marojallia is the first ever Medoc Garage Wine, 4 exceptional hectares fully appreciated by Robert Parker with high level rating for all vintages. 100 % hand picking, ageing in 50% new French oak barrels, 30% oneyear barrel and 20%stainless vat.Discover
Clos Margalaine is the second wine of Marojallia made with same care, facilities and knowhow. Multi-awarded during international contest and very well rated by worldwide critics.

To successfully carry out its project, he had to surround himself with the best team: advised by Michel Rolland the great œnologist and Jean-Luc Thunevin owner of Château Vallandraud and pioneer of “garage wine” concept.
