First planted by the Romans, the unparalleled slopes of Chateau Pavie first gained Classified First Growth status while under the Valette family management in 1954. The estate was subsequently elevated to Grade ‘A’ in 2012 under the new Classification of St. Emilion fine wines.
The Estate was bought by Gérard Perse in 1998 and is now supervised by Michel Rolland to make an Haute Couture wine.
